Owls Research

We were researching about owls for over a month. Now I'm gonna share facts about a Burrowing owl. It builds it's nest in a burrow. Burrowing owls eat insects. Their predators are humans. They need a clean environment in order to live a healthy life. My owl has bright eyes, their beaks can be dark yellow or gray depends on subspecies. They lack ear tufts and have a fattened facial disc. The owls have prominent white eyebrows and a white "chin" which expands during certain behaviors, such as a bobbing of the head when adgitated.
Female owls lay 12 eggs at once. Baby owls stay with their mom until there about a month old. Owls can be found in Grasslands, Rangelands, and other areas. Owls hoot to communicate. Owls can see and hear well. A group of owls is called a parliament. A baby owl is called an owlet. Owls hibernate  just like many other birds. You can't find owls in Greenland and Antarctica. The Great-Gray Owl is the biggest owl in the world. The smallest owl in the world is the Elf Owl. There are between 109-143 owls in the world.
